Has this been a good, meaningful decade for ANYONE? I don't mean to be a solipsist and project my own experiences onto everyone else, but I've never met anyone say anything like "wow, these past 5 years have been great, so much has changed, I've gotten so much done". Obviously 2020-2021 were essentially dud years for everyone, but I feel like that the momentum hasn't returned and we've all just been stuck in limbo for half a decade

I've been reading a lot which has helped me develop some clarity of purpose and got a job that let me buy a house. I may very well lose the house after some economic bullshit outside my control but I'm planting nut trees and berry bushes and starting a veggie garden anyway.
