Not really. It's been a while since i saw that episode but their whole critique of Family Guy seemed to be "cutaways bad" which is dumb as fuck since the cutaways are generally the funniest parts of Family Guy. I enjoy both but both have a lot of weak episodes especially when Seth stepped away to do movies. Family Guy has been much better the last 5 seasons

Almost 20 years later since cartoon wars aired and family guy is still trucking on brother. Been taking longer and longer for those South Park episodes to air.

Seth wanted to quit and I believe stopped writing after season 8. he still does the voices though. he made ted, which made gorillions, and he managed to prove he wasn't one hit. meanwhile, the new writing teams just never had a chance. If the creator says the joke has run its course, how tf do 14 dumbasses suddenly take the wheel for 10+ seasons extra. Seasons 1-8 are the official cut, every season after was because fox offered fuck you money, and seth was willing to do voices a few weeks a year

That's a dumb critique then since the show is still funny without them. Again both shows are great but Family Guys "normal words but a horse guy" joke about Bojak Horseman was way funnier imo
