I am in my mid 40s, so am going to be there soon. My intention is to dress as a wizard as well as collecting garden gnomes for my front garden that I refer to as "my children". I shall keep up the pretense while in public that I am a genuine wizard and also move the gnomes positions during the night so that to the casual observer it will look like they are genuinely alive. I shall use "indoor fireworks" to fool people at the pub and local Aldi into thinking I genuinely possess magical powers beyond their ken as well.

I have not told my wife about my plan, but I genuinely don't think she will have a problem with it. My boss could be an issue but I think I can talk her round by pointing out that Merle in accounts slutty dresses break the company dress code as much as my wizard robes do and nobody bats an eyelid.
