Potentially one of the best video game movies. Not characters like Sonic or Mario, just some history shared between multiple countries. I hope the movie was accurate with actual events that took place.

What's your favorite "based on real event(s)" movie?

I watched this movie a couple months ago and loved it. Way better than it had any right being for some cheap IP movie.

Even featured Ghislaine Maxwell's father as the main villain.

yeah it was surprisingly good. it employs 8 bit graphics overlaying real life scenes that gave me a gay redditor vibe but nothing that ruins the movie. i agree that the "shared history between two countries" approach was the best way to handle this movie
