Seaon 3 really struggled to keep the montemum going and had to rely on le pickle rick and le evil morty to keep normies hooked. Seen one episode of the new seasons and it was just Predator but le Rick n Morty. Was pretty retarded.

this season is truly the "we want to be sci-fi simpsons, but not when the simpsons was good" turning point. Has there been a single moment in any episode this season in which a character grew in a way we haven't already seen before? The beths even flat out list the stuff they've gone through that's made them "unhappy" in the past before trying to fix what is making them unhappy via engaging in a clipshow of nonsense

The real question is how is it still around?

After they fired roiland the show took an absurd nose dive however the show was already heading down that path with or without him they just sped up the process. Rick and Morty peaked with season 03 and just slowly got worse over time due to the huge influx of fans giving the show creators an ego and a need to make the show much bigger than what it actually was. In season 5 the incest baby season is the season I remember really starting to actually hate the show despite already hating the fans at that point. After that season I just did not see any recovery, all the creativity (the little there was) just flushed down the toilet.

After S3 (when they were getting LITERALLY 10 times the viewers they were now (300k vs 3m)) Adult Swim flat out decided to renew it all the way up to S10.
