You have to have watched it before "Reddit" (the social phenomenon, not just the existence of that site) or at least be able to watch it with a mindset that can exclude knowledge of and cringing at Redditness. 4chan was as Reddit as Reddit when 4chan was a young site. It's a kind of suspension of disbelief you need, a suspension of cringebelief. It's a good movie desu.
