One is dinoslop but the point stands. Really it's because movies just suck now so there isn't anything to talk about, and /tv/ activity is down by about half over the last couple years because of it.

Because boards dedicated to discussing large media products (video games and tv/film) will inevitably turn into a discussion and analysis of marketing said products.

It used to be to laugh about how bad they are. But users of this board have shoved their heads so far up their own asses that normal contrarianism isn't good enough for them, they have to swing around to being HYPER contrarian and defending these movies as some kind of "underappreciated kino" while actual good films with thought and artistic vision put into them are just slop.
