I have read the manga.

The manga ends at the end of Season 2. There’s a sequel manga where Arisu goes back to the Borderland, but it’s not very good.

So I think Season 3 is going to be BAD.

I agree. I think they are mixing it with part of Border Road as someone IDed one of the characters of being Mira's younger brother. So I think that will be part of the premise but there will be new types of game stuff instead of following the Border Road story.

All in all I don't have high expectations for it but I know they have had Haro Aso working on creative consultation since the season 1 of the show, so it will not be insufferably bad (I hope)

i watched s1 and 2 after finishing squid game, ts is extremely mid. the games r cool but everything else goes to shit. they killed off the only cool characters in the beginning. its genuinely hard to watch without looking at my phone and it never made my heart race once
