Reminder that if this came out originally as was intended history would be completely different. We are in the wrong timeline

It wouldn't have been as good without the Whedon version to compare it to.

>We are in the wrong timeline
There are a lot of things that make this timeline feel especially off. I can't help but think of that quantum theory
>infinite amount of universes
>your consciousness is "free-floating"
>your consciousness is unable to die because anytime you encounter death it moves to a universe where you didn't die
I find myself wondering if I'm here because otherwise I'd be dead. Or maybe this universe is just purgatory.
Either way, at least we got zsjl at all

I loved the snyder cut. Not as much as any nolan, but way more than what the studio did to it.

No because it started here with cutting 30 minutes from the movie and destroyed the narrative from beyond repair.

You are fucking delusional if you think Warners in 2017 was going to put out a 4-hour movie in theaters. I’m saying that as someone who loves ZSJL.

>4 hours long
Ya it would never have hit a theater in the state it was in on max. It would have been cut down to half the run time and it'd be as half assed and unimpressive as the Whedon version.

Remember, the version he eventually released wasn’t what was originally coming to cinemas. Different aspect ratio, added scenes shot later, etc

This. Snyder will be fully appreciated after 100 years. Like Bach.

Especially accurate since the character that I would argue benefited or improved most from Snydercut was Flash. He’s a pain in the ass still in ZSJL but the payoff at the end saving the world makes you not hate him and see him as more of like an annoying brother than anything.

It was the original version. The only thing he added was the Joker scene.

They'd probably cut the movie in two, and release the first part before releasing the second part. Like some huge event movie.

If Snyder can't make a coherent movie under 3 hours that's his own fault.

He wanted solo movies before, and had to fight for Wonder Woman to come first, because execs were adamant about releasing it after JL. So he did his best.

putting Batman in a Man of Steel sequel was his idea. And honestly there's nothing wrong with that, nor just making a Justice League film at the start of the universe. The execution was just bad.

No, it wasn't. The script was already done. It was done back in the early 2000s. Snyder inherited that script.

30 extra mins doesn't have fixed anything. The film is inherently broken to it's core.
