It loses all momentum after the hospital explosion. The last act needed a complete rewrite.

How did Joker orchestrate a sophisticated bank heist which required every single person to perform their task perfectly, and then kill someone else on the team? How did he synchronize the exact position of the bus and the timing of the escape? Did they rehearse this? Are we to assume the hired goons didn't question any of the orders or talk amongst themselves after learning they'd have to betray someone?

How does Joker break into Bruce Wayne's party when there should be heightened security after making open threats against Gotham's elite? Does joker just leave after throwing Rachel out a window, without harming anyone else or getting caught?

Why do the police just let Joker interrupt the caravan transporting Dent without radioing for help or taking an alternate route. Or maybe just stopping and waiting for additional support? Was Joker's intention to get captured after having a standoff with batman so that he could be in the holding cell so he could call a guy that was also in the holding cell to make a bomb he put in his stomach explode, magically destroying the building and killing/incapacitating the guards while leaving himself unscathed? And how did he have time to capture Rachel AND Dent immediately before doing all this and send them to predetermined locations with tons of explosives already primed? How did he also set up hard-wired phone lines so that Dent and Rachel could say some last words? When exactly did The "Do I look like I have a plan?" Joker have time to do all this, and how did he predict every contingency?

Fuck me I'm only at the 2/3 mark. This movie does not require suspension of disbelief, it's full on brainless key-jangling.

How did joker rig an entire hospital with bombs, (and I mean RIG; because that shit was a professional fucking demolition), while also making sure that he'd have alone time with Dent? What was the Joker's contingency plan if Dent just fucking blew him away? How did the Joker know that Dent would just decide to kill people on a coinflip, and somehow unleash him on the mob underworld? How does Dent infiltrate an occupied mafia limousine completely unnoticed with a hideous facial disfigurement? Why do Dent's injuries now give him superpowers?

When did Joker have time to rig two boats with explosives and why did people just decide to evacuate the city and prison on a whim? When did Joker and his goons climb up a new construction building and turn that into their base of operations? In fact, WHO THE FUCK IS DOING THE TECH SUPPORT FOR JOKER? HE LITERALLY CANNOT BE DOING ALL OF THIS HIMSELF. Why does nobody ask any questions at any point? Why do people even fucking like this movie?

Despite this movie literally working on comic book logic to the extreme it is far more realistic.
Notice that the joker never goes on solo.

He never openly attacks the police or major institutions. Especially not solo.
