Great, now post the numbers for the movies that were origins like Shang chi, eternals, and...oh I guess that's it. Wow, so marvel has had 14 movies since endgame with FF making 15, and only 3 of them are origins stories. Not only that but apparently only 5 of them were actually successes.

It looks like the most painfully middle of the road movie ive ever seen. It also looks so fucking committee drivin its nuts. Pedro as Reed is only a thing because hes meme popular atm. Johnny is eddie from stranger things because he was popular 2 years ago. Sue looks..i thought she was supposed to be johnnys twin? Thing looks like a chocolate bar. The only positive thing i can say is the retro setting might carry the movie harder than if it was set in modern times.

Its also being released in China so if anything Marvel is guaranteed to break even with the movie production and marketing costs. The biggest elephant in the room is will F4 hit a billion dollars in the box office? this number is what make a hero movie considered a success.

Superman is gonna test the current movie goer's appetites and supes is a MUCH bigger and recognizable name then Fantastic 4. If man of steel can't hit a billion then F4 sure as hell isn't.

No it’s not. Very few superhero movies on their own make a billion. A successful big name superhero movie is 700-800 usually. Ones make billion are usually team up legacy characters, Deadpool-Wolverine, or in MCU case tie in’s to ongoing thing like End Game. How Captain Marvel made a billion but the sequel didn’t even come close
