Truly. Breath of fresh air for characters to be well meaning yes men fucking up. Often they’re either John Wick miraculously perfect at their jobs or they’re pathetic and cruel when they’re bad at their jobs.

Nothing can convince me he actually believes this. The entire movie is essentially a whore getting her just desserts. The roastie spends the entire movie coping and getting btfo'd. It makes the "lifestyle" look absolutely horrible and suicide fuel.

He's good at giving grounded human portrayals of the lowest rungs of society though.

It was pretty clear something like that would happen in the end with Igor. To me it was the worst part of the movie, Baker usually don't know how to end his movies and now you could tell how it was going to end midway through.
