I don't get how people can consume stuff like this for extended periods.
My local podcast sometimes has the WATP guy on, and he plays clips of shitty podcasts and they make fun of them.
But it's tiring. I don't like just trotting out stuff that sucks and saying how much it sucks. It's like rolling around in garbage.

The thing with Redbar is that he spends hours watching stuff that sucks and is able to pick out the worthy moments for the podcast. I finally tried watching way late, like a year ago. I watched a couple, it was good background noise while grinding games but I simply did not care nor know about half the shit he was talking about and I "got it" after an hour. I simply don't need that much background noise normally. Do people actually sit and pay attention to ten hours of this shit every week? It probably is the best "friend simulator" because of the length, inside jokes, and opportunity to participate in substance use "with" him

It's ice tea. It's so weird. There have been plenty of people who drink while they do their podcast or do a stream and people just get drunk, but not Redbar. He doesn't slur a single word, because he's so tough. It's just not actual alcohol that he drinks or weed that he smokes.
He can prove me wrong, by opening a fresh bottle of whiskey and drinking those 5-8 glasses that he does on his show. He drinks so much, so why not, right? But no, they're always conveniently opened already.
