What happened? What are there so many kid movies like Deadpool, Statham and Minecraft movies out these days? Why do they keep making money?

Adult movies died because adults don’t go to theaters. Especially not for drama. The 70s had all the auteur shit because of a wide market. You could release My Dinner With Andre and expect people to see it.
