Only a woman wouldn't understand the appeal. Granted the show starts to turn to shit after the second season, but those first two seasons are exactly what I described.

The appeal is watching two bros go in adventures which is entertaining but that goes away when the flame princess is introduced and the show becomes unwatchable.

Yeah, I hated her inclusion. Around the same time, the writing staff seemed to change. They started favoring side characters and shitting on the main character. This was done by male and female writers. It's like they had a burning hatred against teenage boys.

It was fun for a few seasons. Then it just kept going with no end in sight and everything got soapy and gay, literally.

a bunch of dorks fumble their way through trying to fill their parents shoes as intergalactic heros. The protagonist is a beta orbiter who grows seethes so hard he become a jedi, but he uses cringe instead of the force, and is mentored by and angry crazy old incel version of himself from the future. Each episode basically plays out as a really long bit that theyre really commited to, and most of the time it pays off.

Distant Lands - Together Again is both how the show should have ended and also the peak of Western Animation. I didn't bother to watch the other episodes of distant lands so I'm not including them in that statement.
