Because sometimes people are getting mass-banned for simply posting something (not even an image) in an off-topic thread even though there's like 100 of them/day. And posting an image or webm not from a movie/show has an up to 50% to get you banned. Meanwhile, the exact same rules apply to /v/ and this shit doesn't happen there nowhere near the same.
It's insane coming here and seeing many of the same threads from the day before, since things move so slowly now.
