The most effective commercial is probably some random commercial from Kazakhstan that cost a 100$ to make, but led to 100,000$ of sales. Yes? Because of the ratio?

Volkswagons "the force" superbowl commercial from 2004 resulted in 125% increase in web traffic for the VW brand, and resulted in over 21,000 addition car sales compared to the previous quarter. In terms of meaaurable impact from a single commercial, this remains one of the highest ever when it came to "instant results".

Tv advertising is a massive influence in car purchasing. Often vehicles are purchased based on what the wife wants, and anything too texhnical ia brushed off as mansplaining.
Car commercials that aim for an emotional impact really do cause people to go out and buy them.

Aside from the VW darth vader ad mentioned above, the mini "faith of the few" advertisement played in movie theaters and it looked like a film trailer. This was an enormously successful ad for mini (over 20% sales increase, similar to what they gained from the movie "Italian Job"). People really do run out and buy a vehicle if they respond well to the ad.

>What's the most effective television commercial of all time?
You mean on screen marketing?
Obviously pic related single handedly created the pizza industry boom in the 90s.
>That's not a commercial
Yes it is, just a long one with many followup long commercials
Look up the sales
There was an entire documentary in 2002 about the pizza boom following these films and that's how pizza ended up being a staple for almost every American household
