This would make a very good blockbuster movie adaptation. Maybe as an Elseworlds or something, but that's where DC has had a lot of critical/commercial success in the past anyway. Or alternatively as an Endgame-style finale. I know Gunn has had his eye on this in the past but he hasn't mentioned it at all in more recent interviews, maybe because future plans are all under wraps?
