I don't like celebrity guests
>>212566756 (OP)if it's James Gunn I'm unsubscribing
>>212566901I’m surprised Mike isn’t forcing Jay to watch the latest Jurassic World
Len, Freddie and Skeleton Voice Guy have all been good. It's when the guest is someone Mike desperately hopes can get him onto a movie set so he can fix the movie with his "ideas" that you see problems.
>>212566971I like Macaulay episodes too
>>212566901I hope it's Max Landis, the dudes owe him a big episode like Street Trash and a special episode of BOTW.
Jack Quaid is unironically one of the guys. I don't care if he sucks as an actor.
>>212566901>>212566775James Gunn is the only one who makes sense because of the Troma connection.
MAYBE Eli Roth but I can't see Mike inviting him on.
When are they going to replace Mike?
>>212566971Len is most famous from appearing on RLM. Freddie is a goober who I do not care for and is most famous for appearing on RLM. Skelly Man is ok. Hollywood Connection guy is ok. The most famous I'll go for is The Guest guy. I will admit """""Mac" Culkin is fun now that they're friends and you give him an hour of an episode to lighten up. Is that enough caveats to my declarative statement that all the celebrity guests suck
>>212567194>>212566901It's totally Colin, they're gonna do a Canada Special episode focusing on various Canadian weirdos they've previously spotlighted
you guys should go buy a pawn shop .38 and a box of ammo and then load the pistol and cock the hammer and stick it in your mouth and then with your other hand try to calculate how many hours of your life you have spent thinking or posting about this youtube reaction channel and then just yank whatever trigger comes naturally
RLM hasn't had a female guest in over a decade.
>>212567364subscribe to my onlyfans, pervert
>>212566901It's just Mac again, you can tell by the gay-ass shoes and socks.
>>212567552Why hype it up if its just Mac? He has been on the most of all the celebrities.
They're honestly all fine except for Patton Oswalt.
>>212567057>Jack Quaid is unironically one of the guysI don’t mind him, but the way his episodes are edited it’s 70% Jack and 30% the rest of the guys
>>212567590it's a requirement of having him on, it strokes his ego
>>212567604Imagine if they brought Classic Gilchrist on as a guest.
>>212567604>12 yearsIt feels like only just recently I was making "It's been nine years" jokes.
>>212567738Ghostbusted IV is coming, before the Year of the Spoony.

I’ve been following RedLetterMedia since the early days, and I'll freely admit that I have a parasocial relationship with them and use them as a friend simulator. Over the years I’ve collected a bunch of strange stories, rumors, and inconsistencies. One of the weirdest, and least talked about, is what happened to them in early 2019. I’ve pieced this together from a mix of offhand comments and a bizarre NDA-protected story shared anonymously on a now-defunct film forum. Believe what you want, but here's what I found:

RLM reportedly received a high-level offer to consult on, or even create, a film project in Los Angeles. It was never clear who exactly made the offer. The communication came through non-traditional channels (private courier letter, not email), and it was unusually formal.
Rich Evans mentioned it one time during a now-deleted Patreon Q&A (said something about “some weird LA crap.”) and Mike quickly changed the conversation.
Mike, Jay and Rich flew out to L.A. for a weekend in February. No videos were posted that week, and Mike later said in a livestream that they were “busy with some things, nothing exciting." Flight records (yes, someone checked) confirm all three were in L.A. for just under 72 hours.
No social media posts, no fan sightings. Very out of character.
Here’s where it gets strange. An anonymous story posted in April 2019 on the forum FilmDepth (long since shut down and seemingly buried by every search engine out there) claimed a friend worked valet at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills. That weekend, they said, three “Midwestern guys” were brought to a gated estate after midnight. The description of the estate matches old records of a Cold War-era property once owned by a CIA-affiliated production company. It’s not listed anymore.

This same property has been linked to multiple rumors involving secretive Hollywood parties, esoteric art circles, and “script incubators” used by private financiers. If you were in the earliest Pizzagate threads in 2016, this should all seem very familiar to you and you should know exactly what property is being referenced.
The poster claimed the RLM guys were brought into a meeting with a group of “masked financiers” who wanted them to produce a new kind of media: part film, part ritual, part narrative programming.
They were supposedly shown a VHS tape of a film they hadn’t made yet. Told they’d be credited with it eventually. They were offered total creative freedom, huge salaries, a massive budget, and even A-list actors, with one condition: the project would be ongoing for the rest of their lives, and they could never leave it once it began.
This whole experience greatly unnerved them, and they backed out instantly. Within 24 hours of that meeting, they left L.A. without completing the weekend. Their return flight was rescheduled. Back in Milwaukee, they filmed a very low-energy Best of the Worst episode. Fans at the time commented on how off they all seemed, especially Mike. He barely made eye contact with the camera. Rich said nothing the entire episode unless directly spoken to.
>>212567843>RLM reportedly received a high-level offer to consult on, or even create, a film project in Los Angeles. It was never clear who exactly made the offer.I might be creating false memories but I'm like 99% sure Blumhouse asked them to write a script for something which they turned in and then Blumhouse declined.

They’ve never spoken publicly about the 2019 trip. They’ve turned down every serious Hollywood collaboration since. Even when offered funding by a major platform in 2021 (allegedly Netflix), they declined. Mike’s comment at the time: “We’ve seen where that road leads.”
None of this will ever be officially confirmed. But the events are real, and RLM seems very careful not to bring up anything about early 2019. They clearly saw something they weren’t supposed to, and whatever it was, it scared them, and they chose to come back to Milwaukee and never look back.
One final note: the alleged title of the VHS tape was "The Commentary Engine." Make of that what you will.
If they'd don't do a Superman HITB they are actual cowards and I'm cancelling my Patreon.
>>212567938Jay said they're waiting until they've seen all three (JW/SM/F4)
>>212567126>Freddie >famous for appearing on RLM.Anon, you know he's an actual comic book artist, right?
Just because (You) only know him through your friend simulator isn't an accurate reflection of reality.
>>212567999Why group Jurassic World in with the other two?
Patreon simps, have they mentioned anything any 28 years later? I need to know
>>212567999F1 is a bigger movie than F4 tho
>>212568093RLM are afraid to touch serious movies like F1.
>>212568093Have Mike and Jay EVER talked about a sports movie?
I guess Rocky but even that is pushing it.
>>212568177They won't criticize anything that doesn't allow them to hide behind a veneer of detached irony.
>>212567057What about Lloyd Kaufman? He did the AVGN
>>212568065The discourse all year heading into July was about "the big three": Jurassic World, Superman, and F4.
>>212568177They talked about Creed 1-3 I think
>>212568249That's actually a possibility.
>>212568293NTA, and? This is 2025 RLM, hardy what it once was
>>212568316anyone who considers F4 to be on the level of Jurassic World is delusional.
>>212568513Anyone as deeply invested in this shit to label others delusional for statements of fact needs to up they're meds
>>212568021show his face to 100 people and I bet 50 comic book fans would say I don't know who that is. Don't be dumb you stupid
I love Macaulay Culkin and seeing him goof around with Rich is great
>>212567057>because of the Troma connectionStreet Trash isn't a Troma movie
>>212567107as soon as Rich gets up to speed on operating all the office equipment/building security system/coffee maker they are jettisoning Mike, was supposed to happen several years ago but Rich is a slow learner and can't hold onto a key ring if his life depended on it
Who are the most realistic possibilities of female e-celeb guests?
