There is absolutely zero chance any of those people would still be sitting with that wave that close behind them. You would hear it coming 10 miles away. Who directed this, a fucking retard?

itโ€™s a violent thing. the current might push you under the water and have you spinning around the whole time. nothing you can do unless youโ€™re not getting pulled down and even then youโ€™re just dying slower until you get exhausted and drown

On top of the fact that itโ€™s very difficult to keep your head above water in those conditions, youโ€™re very liable to get crushed or held down by debris.

The flood water is superoxygenated so your body only has about 15% of the buoyancy it would in fresh water

Because ignoring the frothing and torpedoing issue if you're getting swept away at speed by floodwaters, so is a bunch of debris. Enjoy getting bludgeoned to death by chunks of trees, car wheels, and being repeatedly bashed against large rocks as you get carried by the floodwaters at 30mph.

When I was a kid this is what I thought a flood was. Just water a hundred meters high enveloping everything like waterworld rather than 1m of water soaking and ruining everything.

Its more like they get trauma from getting thrown into shit or other debris colliding with them that kills them. Same with avalanches or mudslides.
