There's a mirror in Jack and Wendy's bedroom. When Danny comes to visit, Jack sits exactly the same way the gentleman in the suit sits. The bear costume looks like a grotesque version of Danny's teddy bear. The image that film shows is the image the mirror was showing during that moment.
