Zack Snyder showed us the real Superman - a brooding, ice-cold killer who’s so far above humanity that we’re basically ants to him.

In Snyder’s vision, Superman was a god among men, staring down at us like we’re insignificant specks. A 30-story building filled with civilians could collapse behind him, and he’d just keep floating, stoic and unbothered.

But Gunn’s version? He’s obsessed with saving every single person, like he’s running for Metropolis mayor or something.
