>Guns kill. And you don't have to be a gun
>Things die. It's part of life. It's bad to kill, but it's not bad to die
>They don't decide who you are. You do. You are who you choose to be
Americans sure love this didactic and preachy stuff, huh?
>>212586877 (OP)Silly OP, >>>/co/ is over there
It's easy to make that mistake though, mods do such a shit job managing this board that everything's fair game.
>>212586877 (OP)I mean we are defined by our actions
how is that preachy?
>>212586877 (OP)>Muh AmericansIt's a children's movie, which have made their moral points obvious since fables for children existed. Because their intended audience is children with roughly (your) IQ. You're brown.
The kid is too precocious and good-hearted. Not an interesting character
>>212587077>Precocious.He's a normal kid. And he's a bit of a mischievous shit, what are you talking about?
>>212586877 (OP)And you love eating our shit and then complaining about it.
I can't find the appeal of the character designs
>>212587104Other than being a bit mischievious, the kid doesn't have any real flaws. He also doesn't have any character arc/growth to speak of.
>>212586877 (OP)>>212587250lmao it's finally happening, /tv/'s chinless contrarioanism dictates that Iron Giant is le bad now.
Warner Bros did a better job with the animation of Space Jam, which came out 3 years before
>>212587629This is too simple by comparison. No shading effects.
>>212587629space jam is fucking awful fuck off
>>212586877 (OP)Americans didn't love it considering it flopped at the box office.
>>212586877 (OP)Never seen this movie. The milftoon comic is pretty good though. Or maybe it was Pandoraโs box? Idk I canโt remember but itโs pretty old by now so itโs been a while since I last saw it.
They are too likeable. Barely any flaws, and that makes them sorta boring. It seems that Brad Bird realized this too, because the characters from Incredibles and Ratatouille are way more flawed.
>>212588093Iron Giant and Incredibles take place in the same universe.
>>212587250This was so good and the style still beats most things today. Everything nowadays has that family guy looks to it and it fucking sucks. Even the new king of the hill has been family guy'd a bit. Shit fucking sucks.
>That missile is targeted to the giant's current position! Where's the giant, Mansley?!
>What?.... Oh.... We can duck and cover. There's a fallout shelter right there
>There's no way to survive this, you idiot!
>You mean, we're all going to--
>To die, Mansley, for our country
>....Screw our country! I WANNA LIVE!
Iron Giant is definitely tepid and antiseptic. I wouldn't say the same about Incredibles or Ratatouille tho
