Yep, you can actually feel the director shoving the woke into the script, you can almost hear the script complaining to the audience while it's forced to deliver its dialogue because it knows it COULD be a fun show, but the dykes on staff won't allow it. You can sense the actress's irritation and perceived self-alienation from the audience while she is forced to deliver the tacky woke dialogue.

It was pretty boring. I loved Emily Hampshire from 12 Monkeys and Boy Meets Girl but even she couldn't save it. I thought The Swarm was better.

first episode was alright, nothing special, think Ian Glen is a good actor but not sure if he can hold it up on his own
Sassy female beating up some burly oil rig guy was probably a sign of how dumb it is

Indeed. Incoherent environmentalism dogshit. The best thing about it is the woman there on the cover. Wide fat ass, but you barely get a glimpse of it. They knew she had a beautiful dumper but they never showcase it.

This.
This has to be one of the biggest wastes of decent actors I’ve seen.
I think there were actually a few different shows that came out around the same time set on oil rigs, and this literally has put me off all of them.

The exception was this Scottish TV adaption, which only sort of involves oil production.
“Dept. Q”, based on a book by Jussi Adler-Olsen. ( Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes).

This was very well made, with excellent acting.
