I can safely say that Disney lost out with Gunn's departure. I have a hard time picking the best movie in this trilogy, but I will say that the first Guardians holds up better than the first Avengers. Whedon and the Russo brothers really are a tier below James Gunn and his ability to make good popcorn movies. Also Epcot has that pretty good Cosmic Rewind coaster.

I didn't see hulk, Captain Marvel, Endgame or anything past it but the best MCU movies were the first Spiderman, the second Spiderman, Iron man and ant man as long as you don't think too hard about how inconsistent they are with how changing size affects or doesn't affect mass
