Is old style acting actually better? It is t less realistically but more dramatic and more emotionally raw, a couple of examples

Compare that to modern acting which tries it's best to look real including the ugly modern nasal Californian accent and lots of mumbling so you can't hear people properly

modern day acting relies on being as realistic as possible, which means mumbling into the mic. i don't think they even teach actors proper diction anymore.
