The songs are genuinely good, with lyrics that are obviously written for comedy, but still almost come off like real genuine 1980s glam rock. Even them going back through the eras, doing a bratty 60s garage rock song "Gimme Some Money" is just so fucking funny to me.
Shit like them trying (and failing) to harmonize "Heartbreak Hotel" over Elvis' grave...
Nigel's beautiful piano piece being revealed as "Lick My Love Pump". It's just hilarious, man.
Armadillos in their trousers..
These are some of the greatest improv comics of all time, who can all play instruments exceptionally well. You have goddamn Harry Shearer (who went on to voice half of Springfield), playing the hell out of his bass and stuffing a cucumber down his pants. Brilliant, brilliant stuff.
