But what I meant by "WB is desperate" is they need this movie to work and Gunn went with a bunch of nobodies for his cast, I mean some people know Moner and Fillion but they are C-lists, that's why is a tradition to bring some respectable actor to play a minor role in blockbusters, things like Brando in Superman 78, Guinness in Star Wars, and in recent days MoS had Russel Crowe (and Laurence Fishburne and Amy Adams which helps bit too).

You can't make a movie like this, it worked with GotG because they had the MCU brand behind them, Gunn is an idiot to make this movie with zero stars

Not only that they wanted to make another try at the Dark Universe starting with THAT movie, picrel was supposed to be a sequel, the great reveal being the Dracula that appears in the end being Cage but they recast him as Matthew Goode for some reason.

That just shows how absolutely lost Universal is right now.

James Gunn's use of diegetic scores is as bad, if not worse, than Snyders
