Don't think I was too crazy over The Batman. I thought it was crap BUT it looked like a real movie, had real actors who were respectable and it was a standalone Elseworlds movie and by virtue of that I champion it. I hated Joker 2, despised it, but I would take a thousand Joker 2s over this nightmare timeline where James Gunn rules over DC.

When Stan Lee wrote for DC during the What if Stan Lee created the DC Universe comic book promotion he commented on how the trinity characters were so hard to rewrite because of their perfect origin stories.
