His character is the most effective one in the Superman movie. They give critical solutions to him and then his Walmart justice league get the big heroic setpiece trashing the Israelis and saving the poor Gazans.
Superman gets cucked out of relevance in his own feature. He doesn’t even get to keep his dog, it’s Supergirl’s.

the movie was shit but this chick, nathan filion, and supergirl were the best parts of it
eve is hot but she just seemed like a pleasant girl which contrasted with lois who seemed like a bitch the whole movie and kept boring strangers by talking about how she wants to break up with superman
the two of them had horrible chemistry and if they didn't have them kiss in every scene it wouldn't be clear at all that they like each other
lois seems irritated at him the whole time and superman behaves like a whiny cuck who screams (actually screams like a child) when getting in a simple discussion

the only reason black Mr. Terrific is not a popular character is because his superhero origin story is super lame and cliche, it also doesn't explain why the T spheres exist, if he is such a genius why flying spheres? why not a super suit? I think the T Spheres need a reason to exist, not just exist for existing, why spheres? why are they such super advanced technology? why spheres? black Mr Terific is a really cool design without a lot of substance to him, like I said his powers are cool but nonsensical and that's because his superhero story doesn't give a reason for his powers to be what they are
