It was something like that. They signed on for streaming and new episdoes when streaming was still new and got an excellent deal, and Paramount realized later when streaming took off that they actually got the shit end of the stick since they didn't realize just how big streaming services would become. So they've been trying to fuck over Trey and Matt recently because they're production company was actually getting most of the money for making South Park instead of Paramount.
