Employees being unionized can be good for a business as if means it only have to negotiate with the union instead of each individual employee. Things can easily go bad if your business model relies on you fucking over your employees or your employees are retards who think their labor is worth more than it really is. There are 50 things that have to go right, for example, a bussiss owner just hires a bookkeeper (creating a new job and benefits to be paid, where a restauranteer either just does it himself or has a hungry manager stay an hour after his shift to do it, to hire the right person who can do that and the. You train him into the bookkeeping is a simple finesse, don’t even get me started on how to run a house with 70% of the staff of other places yet still keep the customers satisfied
