In real life, I wouldn't care, but in thw show I'd be subject to the weird Aztec curse sitcom protagonists are subject to. I'd say that I didn't want her hanging out with Jerry, not because he was a guy, but because he sucks, as a person. But I wouldn't mind her hanging out with George, because at least he's funny. And George and Jerry would see it as me wanting her to hang out with the guy who was less of "a threat", despite Elaine repeatedly saying that wasn't the case.
