I haven't watched anything released in 2024 or 2025 except the first 3 episodes of Andor S2. I wish I hadn't watched the first 3 episodes of Andor S2.

>half a year has already passed.
>the top-grossing movie only made $424 million.
Grim.
Just a few years ago, movies used to make $1 billion easily. Didn't Avatar 2 make a billion? What happened?

You dumb, anon? Those are the domestic grosses. Minecraft did fall short of hitting the billion ($955m) but Lilo & Stich is close to doing that. Could hit it or not but not out of the running yet. It's inching close to being the 1st domestic movie to hit $1b ignoring that China anime.

Not a single one of them. Last "new" movie I've seen was Dunc 2 when the 4K BDRip released.

Grim. It'll take a while for movies to recover from the money-destroying effects of wokeness and DEI hiring.

meh. If something loses me it has lost me. There is so much to watch I waste no time on things that don't hold my attention.

Only watched F1. Liked the movie.

Downloaded a few more and skipped thru them, but nothing said "watch me now".
