I couldn't get into it, it is nonstop complaining and I'm not even kidding. I think I maybe laughed 4x in 2 seasons, though I only watched the first two so maybe their strongest are in the middle.

first season: writers have no clue if this is good or if it will work
second season: a bit more confident, still have no clue where we are going with this.
third season: they are in a grove and have a clear idea in mind on what every character does now
the third season is the peak kino. it's a 50/50 if the kino lasts thru season four. everything else is downhill

With a good drama series they've got a specific story to tell, with comedy it's more about figuring out how the cast plays best off each other and how to write for them, so they typically get better once the cast and creative team have time to "gel"

Cheryl and Larry separating is another good stopping point, "bachelor" Larry is probably the worst arc of the entire show. It works in Seinfeld throughout the series because he's a young up and coming stand up in Jew York, it doesn't work it CYE.

Yeah, it feels like the show evolved into Seinfeld 2.0 in the later years. There's some stylistic inconsistencies over the course of the series and it took me a while to adjust to the digital HD era, but there's some great comedy even in the last few seasons, even though it doesn't feel as lived-in as the early seasons.

Even worse than 8, but still it's glad to have it back after 6 years.

Just bad. Nearly unwatchable. The show feels like it's forcing incidents for Larry to get involved with. None of it feels organic.

Start from the beginning. Season 1 is kino. Watch everything up to and including season 8. I didn't like anything after that and don't recommend watching.
