Some of the concept art of the neomorph looked really good, if ridley had directed this 20 years ago insted of in his senile state going back and froth with the engineers and trying to connect it to alien was a major mistake

He doesn't. He can't DO anything. He floats because he can barely move. Every scene is him just slowly moving towards the characters menacingly then jump cuts and flashes to pretend they're fighting. It looks neat in still images as a spooky concept, but it's an abysmal costume that you all headcanoned into being way better than it was. It's been done 100x better in every following movie and Alien was the worst.
