how do new people even get into Marvel by this point? do they watch 10 to 30 movies to understand what's happening, or do they just ignore everything before?

it's genuinely like reading actual comics by this point

they never "got into" Marvel before. the movies were always very simple and episodic until Disney fucked up their own formula by trying to do Marvel TV shows, at which point the stories HAD to get more complex and their core midwit audience could no longer keep up.

it was a cultural fad. I doubt in 50 years time anyone will rewatch these movies.

It's crazy thinking that I've seen 10 of these fucking movies and that's not even half of this godforsaken franchise. I've never seen 10 of any series before or since. Is there even? Friday the 13th?

They don't. It's over. It's been over for a while. ended with Endgame.

I've only seen half of these and had no trouble following what was going on in the big team up movies like civil war and endgame. Okay, ant-man has a time machine I guess, I don't need to watch 2 shitty movies explaining why. They're very simple and stupid stories, it's not like they're weaving a complex narrative over multiple movies, it's just capeslop for children and retards

It's pretty funny they tricked 1 billy in tickets worth of people into seeing Captain Marvel because it was in between infinity war and endgame, you can really just check in at anytime and understand what's going on like a soap opera
