My friends can do it sober or only a few beers in. For me,I need to Beatles 7 to 9 beers in to get that party started. Used to at least. Almost died from alcohol twice now and have been sober for over a year. Lost everything because of my selfishness. What a life.

I've been drunk for 10 days straight and I just confessed to one of my friends how much of a degenerate I am. I hate it but I can't quit alone. I don't do anything just drink, don't even leave the house.

I just went out for the first time in like 5 years. With some people from work. I'm human sized now and don't drink anymore, going out to clubs and bars sober is a miserable experience. The music is deafeningly loud and drunk people are so fucking annoying you want to kill then. Im also far too autistic sober to pull anyone. What a terrible experience. I don't want to start drinking again but maybe I need to.

it was, it was great, i miss it now since it was ~2019 pre-covid. unfortunately the alcohol + coke hangovers took too much of a toll on me. i couldn't deal with pacing around my place for hours at a time trying to stave off panic attacks.

i can deal with alcohol hangovers but not with coke anymore. getting old sucks.

My wife herniated her disc 3 months ago. Shes couchbound with no signs of improvement, only deterioration. Her parents flew up from florida and are staying with us. She is up all night every night in pain. Im drinking because my whole year plans are shot. They got mad and dont want me to drink. I dropped it to a nip or two of whiskey a day. I want them out of my house but theyre retired and she needs round the clock care especially while im at work. Im really stressed out. Theres no timeline of her getting better. The best doctors in Boston say she shouldve got better a month ago and surgery isnt an option. I just want to drink.
