Superman in cuffs. Surrounded by military goons while being marched down a hallway like a war criminal. The most powerful being on Earth choosing to surrender.
You didn’t need Nathan Fillion in a bad wig explaining to the Audience what is happening on screen.
That image said everything, He’s not above us, He’s submitting to the fear of mankind because he wanted to be trusted.
That’s what Snyder understood, Superman isn’t interesting because he’s invincible. He was interesting because he choose restraint. Because trying to be good even when parts of the world feared and hated him was what made him Superman.

Then look at Gunn’s Superman.
Off-brand cosplay. Shitty MCU suit. Smirking like a retard constantly.
Cast looks like they were pulled straight from a Disney+ karaoke open mic night.

Look retard characters in movies have these things called arcs. Superman and Lois do the interview like 10 minutes into the movie, and yes the character shows emotion and cracks when Lois explains that the world does not see things in black and white. The entire movie is about superman grappling with people in his life (his parents, coworkers, girlfriend, peers, government, etc etc) demanding that he question or change his identity and actions to accommodate who they want him to be. The movie ends with superman fully committed to his identity and worldview despite the friction it creates in his life in a way that borders on delusional
