what is mann's deal with wmaf romances? both blackhat and miami vice have very similar ones (white "gloomy bad boy" with combed back hair, they fall in love at first sight, shes chinese and tames him), Thief and Heat don't have this at all, blackhat is awkward and weird in particular. does he just think its aesthetic like the korean club scene in Collateral?
