Peak Jet Li and Bridget Fondu. '90s action was so comfy-kino.

Man, I fucking love it. One of the best action openings of all time.
First off theres the release differences.
In the chink version theres a bunch of tops secrect green text printing on the screen telling you how thdy were government lapdogs in between cuts of guys spraying blood from their throats. It does more to portray the war crime shit they special forces guys were doing before they became test subjects. Then it cuts to Jet, motherfucking, Li dewelding his way through a door, and he was called Black Mask, and the fucking welding mask actually makes some sense because it was a part of the toolkit he used to help his fellow test freaks escape with. Once the door falls, the kino action opening ensues.

In the wnglish version you get his kino narrarator talking over this black and white deal of him in a table and IM ACTING while they syringe his Nerve Centerโ„ข
Then it cuts to him talking to a babe in his escape getup, and its super romantic. Ths moment is dramatic as it is hilariously unearned. They awkwardly give eachother a quick hug, it changes to color, the pre-dewelded door falls down and MAXIMUM FORCE.

But what really makes it kino is the 90s detective buddy that just roughs up some punks trying to mug his buddy in a bathroom then bounces because a new case just came in.

Also that chink in bondage was hot, dont @me

I don't remember which intro I saw and the chick with the wig was hot. Rock is his buddy and he has another kino movie called mad detective, about a detective that can see the inner personalities of criminals.

I'm glad you were entertained. You shouldn't let not liking violent movies put you off exploring the martial arts movie genre. While there's a lot of people punching and kicking each other the movies aren't "violent" in a sadistic or gratuitous way like those Saw or Terrifier movies. Instead the violence is more action/adventure and often cheesy/fun enough to remove any real visceral impact. You'd be entertained by any of Jackie Chan's early classics such as Drunken Master https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF9vhf_r81w or the movie "Bloodsport" starring this guy (yes he really did this) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJU3PrHvxn4

How so? Punisher seemed like a standar action vehicle. Black mask had personality and style in every set. The underground base in the sewers, his hideout, the crime lords front

I don't think I saw any movie where Jet Li actively makes out with another woman.
Either it's because he is loyal to his wife even when it comes to fake movie romances, or he is, as he himself once said, insanely shy and it is a surprise that he even got any woman at all in his life.
