Don't know how to describe it. This movie isn't scary. It oozes aura but its beats feel more like an action-thriller than a horror film. Closest I can think to compare is Sleepy Hollow

I should have said it wasn't trying to be scary. The Witch had a palpable sense of dread at all times. This movie didn't seem like it was concerned with being scary. It was an observation

I thought some parts of it was pretty spooky, like that scene where it was implied that he was moving around the room by transforming into a bat. Since this wasn't actually shown it makes it creepier but confusing for people who aren't figuring out what's happening
