I finally got around to watching it yesterday. This movie is fun, but am I the only one who also loved the side characters? They were all great and totally worth it! Guy Gardner was such a fun character, I loved him, especially his line: "Sorry kid, Superman didn't make it, but you got an upgrade." And Mr. Terrific was amazing, definitely the best Black superhero character since Blade. His line had me laughing so hard: "I plant a tracker device in all my friends without them even knowing."
Hawkgirl was the weakest of the bunch, sadly, but I still liked her, especially the way she killed Netan- I mean dictator guy.
All in all, this film is a joy to watch. Every minute is worth it, there's lots of action, fun moments, and heartfelt scenes. Also, no time wasted! I’m so glad this film was only 2 hours long. There’s no need to make movies longer than that. If, as a director, you can’t tell your story in about 2 hours, then you’ve failed at your job.
Definitely planning to rewatch it sometime this week.

Did he really say that? Even in women?

I enjoyed how even tiny side characters like Cat Grant or Max Lorde do have a much bigger part in other DC characters stories, some good and subtle world building going on there. Absolutely inspired Peacemaker cameo too.
