In classic Gunn style his character is very different from the comics, Gunn turns him into a soft spoken dweeb, in the comics he's a swashbuckling adventurer for hire. Also his girlfriend/wife is a rich heiress but in the movie she looks a bit trashy and their apartment is kind of a dump.

So...I just saw this movie. I liked it better than I thought, but there were some odd things and/or silly and stupid things about it. For some reason Gunn meshes elements of Invincible and The Boys into the Superman mythos. Luther's motivations are odd or silly. Overall, it has decent bits, but not as a whole it's not a good movie desu.
