I think there are probably a few molecules of waste from some organism in all but the most pure water whose only use can be in ultrahigh precision scientific research.
It all comes down to concentration, but even filtered bottled water must have a few parts-per-trillion fecal bacteria. The difference between thirdie undrinkable cholera water, and safe firstie water, is not a binary presence/absence relationship; it's all merely concentration. There is probably an E. coli cell (with debatable vitality and potential for infection) in every relatively-small unit of water, even for water taken from alpine Switzerland. It's the air, from 8 billion humans shitting and pissing every day, sometimes multiple times, globally, all the time.
It is best not to think about, but it's also nothing to worry about from a health perspective.
