Worse than Prometheus. I actually recommend people see this film just to see how stupid those characters are.

On the surface it seems that way but the theme of the movie is how humans can’t overcome our base instincts and beliefs, I think a lot of that gets lost in translation

yeah the characters were kind of stupid and morally flawed. just like real people.

the nice thing about horror movies is that the main cast doesn't have to be likeable nor admirable for the movie to be good. most genres rely on likeable characters. not necessary for the horror genre. it can still be entertaining with retarded or piece of shit main characters because they will suffer or die.
