I was reading Versus last night and I had an epiphany, the current villain is a guy without morals, someone that gave up his humanity and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, he gives a speech of hope but it is all a lie, pretty words just to betray the protagonists

this superman movie feels the same it has a really good message and the story although flawed is entertaining, but it is all an illusion, Gunn himself would nuke Palestine if given the opportunity

and yet, in Versus, the protagonists are willing to forgive this villain and work together, because in the end that's what being a human is all about, nobody should trust billionaires and corporations, but wanting them dead is wrong, there are other punishments that are more fair

yes, having the courage to know and do whats right despite stupid "discourse" is punk roock.
