Cancelled or not, Trey and Matt literally own Comedy Central and they probably muscled them out than actually cancelled them.

The premise for Drawn Together was great at first because reality TV was all the rage; by the middle of the second season, they were all leaving ht e house and doing other shit. There wasn't any more room to go with the premise and it was already pretty cut and dry at that point.

The movie was awful; not funny, not disgustingly funny, but just awful and disgusting. The whole character of a robot named ISRAEL that Seth MacFarlane voiced along with all the dickriding they did to him for going them jobs was just terrible in all regards.
It was great while it lasted but it wasn't meant to last long.

South Park was simply better. That, and the Drawn Together guys got lazy and blamed everyone but themselves

Matt and Trey have become the epitome of Hollywood Jews with so much power/capital and wealth they can do whatever they want. They've fucked over numerous streaming networks, deliberately breaking their contracts and still walking away with millions of dollars while producing bare minion slop.

They have so much money they can afford to buy out a failed restaurant borderline resort, rebuild it and keep it open at a net loss solely because they can. And a reminder that up until recently these guys were working a per week basis for episodes and then took the rest of the year off. Granted the documentary did show how stressful and hard that was but fucking still. Its only until they signed those streaming deals and realized they would have to work outside their stoner college schedule did things start getting pull.

i can think of one easily. Reno 9/11. I've seen ~4 episodes of that show. 1 was 11/10, the most hysterical sitcom episode i've ever seen in my life, 1 was a 7/10 solid comedy experience, and the other 2 were 1/10 painfully unfunny and boring, every joke fell flat, and i never laughed once. Also their movie was a solid 6.5/10 funny cop comedy.

I still struggle to believe how inconsistent the comedy was in that show. I loved drawn together and SP, but i always found the mutation gags around the princess and her tentacles really grotesque, like having to watch BBC porn or something, it was a little too jewish in the perversion for me.

He didn't hate Trey or South Park initially, and there's many affectionate references to South Park in Drawn Together, the beef started with the cancellation of Drawn Together, which was caused by two major factors, first and foremost the fact that a majority of advertisers were being lobbied by SJWs and soccer moms to remove their money given the "offensive" nature of the show, which coupled with the fact that the show was very expensive to produce given the high quality of animation (For a CC production) and the stacked voice cast, as opposed to South Park's dirt cheap production costs due to its flat animation and the fact that Trey and the other guy voice like 80% of the characters.
But the big draw famously came when Matt was specifically told that South Park was being kept around despite being similarly crude because it "Made a point", which pretty much informed the entire plot of the movie; of course this was most likely a lie they told him to soften the blow of the cancellation, but it was still a shitty move by the execs because they essentially shifted the blame from themselves for being faggots and cowtowing to the woke and bible thumping mobs onto South Park's lap, when the reality was that South Park was way cheaper to produce and made way more money with merch so even if all advertisers left the show would still be very much self-suficient.
Ultimately, I think it's fine Drawn Together ended when it did rather than letting it become sanitized and cowardly like South Park has been.

It may be because I watched it with latin dubs and the delivery alone of everything the Superman guy said was hilarious, but South Park never made me laugh as much as this show, even if at some point, far long ago, South Park was consistently churning out gems, like the whale in the moon episode. Episode to episode, Drawn Together was never at that level, but it was funnier.
