I was at a screening of The Room in the early 2010s with Tommy in attendance, it was one of those midnight movie RHPS type shows where everyone does these rituals like throwing plastic spoons at the screen whenever the framed pictures of spoons appear and shit like that but before the show he was hardcore trying to shill his underwear and schmooze everyone in the lobby into buying some. Then when he came up to introduce the movie I guess he had found four or five of the hunkiest men at the show and probably gave them free pairs or some shit but he convinced them to go in the bathroom and put them on then get up front in the auditorium and do like a strip tease down into just their underwear and prance around to “model” them. It was one of the gayest things things I’ve ever seen which was further compounded by the fact that any time anyone asked questions at the Q&A at the end about any detail of his past or early life he would just start rambling about how many hot teens and milfs he fucked when he was in high school like incessantly to the point where it was uncomfortably compensatory.
