the ending was contrived, poorly written, and painfully underwhelming. it had a great buildup but no real climactic ending.

his "saint" or whatever goes off script in her nonsensical ramblings which is supposed to be his big unraveling and then the dumb mormon girl suddenly becomes acutely aware of everything that had transpired and pieces it together perfectly in some kind of pathetic exposition of his grand plan to either give the girls some kind of high school expose on religion or "fool" them into serving him or something by convincing them that a dead woman, which he "confirms" by getting them to feel her apparent lack of pulse (LOL) and then doing a switcheroo when they aren't looking?
